Not only do you end up wasting money, but more importantly, your time! How much better spent would be this most precious of commodities—if you'll allow such a debasing of its true value for this example—doing what you love and know. Stop consuming and start producing! Write that article, book, or course, and teach others who share your passion!

My favorite is the second one, and there's already a third. Let me know what you think. Like I told the folks on my list, I even forwarded these to my Dad. (I'm always trying to convince him to take his passion on-line.) I hope he's inspired. And you too!

Did you miss me?

I've been busy working in "the niches." I'm talking about areas in which I'm truly passionate, not some Adsense-laden mini sites. As you know, I actually use the things I recommend. And I put out honest reviews of what works and what doesn't (at least for me). No doubt that's why you stick with me and read about my experiments and self-education with products I can afford (or even get for free). So, there will be natural pauses--hopefully not too long--where I'm installing or writing software or reading ebooks. Surely, you don't mind less frequent email than other internet marketers pump out, right? All I ask is you give serious consideration to what I present.

The latest need in my business was the ability to conduct a poll or survey. SurveyMonkey is a great place to start, but I think you'll quickly find their free account too limiting. The upgrades involve recurring fees, so I sought out something I could pay for once and install on my own domains. I ultimately went with Web Poll Pro. You can set up many styles of questions, including a ranking, and you get to create your own color schemes. It was easy to install, and you'll have a poll set up in no time.

Speaking of which, please fill out the sample survey mid-page here. Ignore the limited quantity hoopla; I just left it there so you'd see what the salespage looks like with the resale rights. By filling it out, you help decide the focus of the internet marketing investigations I'll share next.

p.s. - Don't be shy. Post a comment to let me know where you're at & what you're doing.
