As a software engineer, I can be a little stubborn when it comes to buying a ready-made or hands-off solution. I tend to prefer using Open Source tools to get the job done, making tweaks if necessary.
Lately though, I'm starting to appreciate how much of a time sink fussing with the techology can be. I should be focusing on product creation and marketing, rather than the pieces that are tailor-made for automation.
It's with this realization in mind, that I'm finally making some of the big purchases that I've held off for so long. Still something of a cheapskate, however, I set the max at $100 a whack. And already there've been exceptions. Ugh.
Here's where you can come for an honest appraisal of the various software packages and ebooks I'm acquiring along the way. Please feel free to share your thoughts, if you've had experience with any of them, ask questions, etc.. In other words, don't be shy; interact. We're in this thing together!
